Canteen News 2023

Our Canteen Manager, Mrs Tanniell Kimwatan, and our Canteen Assistant, Ms Beth Johnson, have also been very proactive in ensuring we offer your children a healthy range of items. We have eliminated all red objects from the menu and capped the number of amber items placed per order per day. Please don’t hassle our amazing canteen staff for adhering to the healthy canteen system and refusing to exceed the maximum number of amber items allowed daily.

The new SUMMER menu is included below, updated on 31 January 2024.

Canteen and Uniform Shop Online Ordering

You can place both canteen and uniform shop orders online through Flexischools. You can order canteen meals days ahead, so you’re prepared the night before or even the morning of your order up until 9am to be supplied that day.

Uniform shop orders can be placed online also but will only be filled each Thursday when the uniform shop is open (8:30am to 9:30am each Thursday)

A detailed guide on setting up your Flexischools account can be found by clicking on the button below.

Fees & Charges With Online Ordering

Whilst we want to offer this convenience for our school families, we want to be open about the extra costs.

Please be aware that there is a 15c charge & 1% fee for all online account top-ups using a credit card and PayPal (if you want to load $10 onto your account, you’ll be charged $10.25). If you top up your online account via bank transfer, there is no additional load fee; what you transfer is loaded to your account, but it can take up to 5 days.

For every canteen order placed online, an additional 0.29c fee is charged. We will still take the normal order bag and cash payments at the canteen if you want to avoid extra charges and wish to continue ordering the way you always have.

There will be no additional fees charged on uniform orders.

For any issues or concerns, please email the P & C President, Mr Ryan Jenkins, at forestcrescentpandc@gmail.com

We appreciate your ongoing support of the canteen. Many schools in our area have a canteen open only one to three days a week or none. We are fortunate to have a five day a week canteen. It’s a service the P & C is proud to offer families at Forest Crescent, and we hope to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
