Daffodil Day Stalls 2013

Two Daffodil Day stalls were run by members of the year 3 classes as part of their community service program ‘Making A Difference’. Products that were sold included toy bears, footballs, daffodil pins, wristbands and pens. The year 3 students  in room 30 worked with our two wonderful school gardeners  to do some planting near the Kiss & Drive area as part of National Schools Tree Day celebrations. Daffodil Day Stalls 2012

As part of the year 3 ‘Making A Difference’ community service program, two Daffodil Day stalls were run to raise funds for the Cancer Council of WA. The stalls were held in the undercover area at consecutive Thursday assemblies, one for the junior classes and the other for the senior classes. $490 was raised for this worthwhile charity.

Good Sammy Industries- Guest Speaker

Mrs Ann Cunningham , Donations Coordinator from Good Sammy Industries in Canning Vale, visited the students in rooms 12, 26, 29 and 30 on Monday 30th July. She gave a powerpoint presentation explaining how they can provide paid employment opportunies for people with disabilities and showed how making donations can also help to resuse and recycle unwanted goods.  The year 3 students will be running a Good Sammy Donation Drive in week 7...
