During the school holidays a group of Year 4-7 children competed in the Fremantle Football Club’s Skill for skills program, with 11 of 12 competing teams progressing to the State Grand Finals. This was held at Subiaco Oval on Saturday 14th August as the Pre-Game entertainment to the Fremantle vs Sydney AFL Game. This year the Interschool Athletics Carnival was held at Ranford oval, with throws, jumps circular track running held on Tuesday 26th October, and the 200m, straight track and team games held on Friday 29th October.  It was a very warm day on Tuesday. Ducklings & Chickens in Rm8

Mrs Wybenga’s class of Year 1’s experienced the excitement of watching chickens and ducklings hatch in an incubator.  We had 5 duck eggs, 10 chicken eggs and 2 chicks. We named the 2 chicks Cody and Cooper. We could see a difference in the eggs in the incubator. Some eggs had cracks in them and lots of chicks hatched in there. We had some ducklings hatch too.
