DESCRIPTION:In Year 6\, as a part of our Health program\, we have been studying nutrition and the impact that poor eating choices have on our body\, particularly junk food. One of the tasks in this unit is for students to compare a junk food item to a healthier and more nutritious version. \nYear 6 teachers will be comparing a Mcdonald’s cheeseburger to a homemade hamburger. We will be making the hamburgers with them at school for lunch on Friday\, 12th May. An informational letter will be forthcoming.
