DESCRIPTION:School staff participate in six professional development days for up-skilling on school priorities\, data review and forward planning each year. Students do not attend these days. Two of these days are before the school year starts for students\, and one day is after the school year ends for students. A Department term dates calendar can not be provided as each public school develops its own calendar. \n\nThere are six school development days that students do not attend:\n\nTwo of these days are before the school year starts for students\, and one day is after the school year ends for students.\nEach school schedules another three days throughout the year in consultation with its school council/board and school community.\nPlease view Forest Crescent Primary Website Calendar or contact your school directly for more information about its specific dates\, including school development days.\nStudents start the school year on Wednesday\, 31st January and end the school year on Thursday\, 12th December 20244.
