SUMMARY:National Assessment Program – Yr 6 ICT Literacy
DESCRIPTION:What is the National Assessment Program–ICT Literacy assessment? \nThe National Assessment Program is an ongoing program of assessments designed to measure progress towards the goals outlined in the Mparntwe Declaration\, 2019.\nThe NAP–ICT Literacy assessment measures and reports on the ability of students to use ICT appropriately and safely to access\, manage and evaluate information; develop new understandings; apply computational\, design and systems thinking to create solutions; communicate and collaborate with others; and engage productively with emerging and future technologies. \nHow will the assessment be conducted?\nThe NAP-ICTL main study assessment is a computer-based test that will be delivered using an online delivery platform. Students will\, therefore\, undertake the test using school computers\, which are connected to the internet.\nAt your school\, a sample of 20 students from Year 6 will undertake the assessment. These students will be randomly selected by ACER. These students will participate in an online assessment session.
