SUMMARY:Pre-Kindy Orientation Program 2024
DESCRIPTION:Forest Crescent offers a short pre-Kindy orientation program for our incoming Kindergarten students\, which is hosted by Mrs Joanna Whitney.  We meet for 1 hour on a Wednesday morning for 5 weeks during Term 4. This program aims to allow you and your child to meet and play in one of our Kindergarten classes before starting in 2025. \nPlaces are limited to 20 children per session\, and priority will be given to children: \n\nwho have English as an additional language\nwho have special needs or\nwho are anxious about starting Kindy.\n\nDates for this year are: \nWednesday\, 30th October to 27th December \nThere is a choice of two sessions: \n9am – 10am OR 10am – 11am. \nInvitations will be included in the Kindy folder\, which will be handed out at the Kindy 2025 Parent Information Night on October 16th.

DESCRIPTION:Kindy 1A & 2A 12th November\nKindy 1B & 2B 15th November\n\nThe performance is a storytelling adventure\, “Mary’s Marvellous Musical” by Rebecca Flanagan. \nThe performance is called “A Marvellous Musical”. Miss Mary explores wind and air with the children and tells a mysterious story about travelling on a magic carpet to a faraway land. Each child will jump aboard his or her own flying carpet and join Miss Mary on her wonderful adventure. There will be singing\, musical instruments to play and bubbles. Together\, the children will go on a storytelling adventure with Miss Mary. \nThe cost of this performance is $10.
