DESCRIPTION:In Year 6\, as a part of our Health program\, we have been studying nutrition and the impact that poor eating choices have on our body\, particularly junk food. One of the tasks in this unit is for students to compare a junk food item to a healthier and more nutritious version. \nYear 6 teachers will compare a McDonald’s cheeseburger to a homemade hamburger. We will make the hamburgers with them at school for lunch on Wednesday\, April 2nd. An informational letter will be forthcoming.
