DESCRIPTION:Come and Join in the Celebrations!\nTo celebrate the opening of “Book Week”\, FCPS will be holding a Book Character Parade on: \n\nTHEME: READ\, GROW\, INSPIRE\nWhat: Book Character Parade\nDate: Thursday\, 24th August 2023\nTime: Starting at 9:00am\nWho: K-6 staff and students\nWhere: Inside school grounds near the undercover area\nNote: Kindy 1A and Kindy 4A will have their parade on 22nd August 9:00am to 9:45am\n\nStudents and staff can come dressed up as their favourite book characters. Students are to bring in a gold coin donation. Students can remain dressed in their costumes for the day. Please ensure students have sensible footwear to wear during recess and lunchtime. If it is wet and windy\, the alternative venue is the undercover area beginning with a K-2 parade followed by a Year 3-6 parade. If you have any questions about the parade\, please ask your classroom teacher.

DESCRIPTION:Our annual Open Night will be held on Tuesday\, 29 August (Week 7). Our art program\, music\, drama and visual arts will be presenting their work in the undercover area. \nThe band and choir will commence from 5pm to 5.30pm. Classes will be open from 5.30pm-6.50pm. \nThere will be a drama performance from 7pm-7.30pm in the undercover area. \nThe Open Night is an opportunity for families to come and have a look at the wonderful work of students and see our great facilities. Teachers will be available to say hello and introduce themselves if parents/caregivers haven’t met before. The Open Night is a time to celebrate all of the outstanding teaching and learning opportunities implemented across the school\, it is not a time for parent/teacher interviews. \nShould you wish to have a more in-depth conversation with your child’s classroom teacher\, an appointment can be made for a later date. I look forward to seeing many families taking the opportunity to come in and look at our wonderful work. \nThe P&C has a Subway Meal Deal that you can order through the Flexischools app. Orders can be picked up on the night from the Art Room between 5.30pm and 6.10pm. Orders close at 9am on Friday\, 25 August.

DESCRIPTION:PP-Yr6 Sports Faction Athletics Carnival is scheduled for this day. \nAttached is a PP – Year 6 Athletics Carnival timetable on Friday\, 13th October. \nLunch for the whole school will be at 12.30pm. \nTHE CANTEEN WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE SPORTS CARNIVAL-THERE WILL BE NO OVER-THE-COUNTER ORDERING \nThe following items are available for lunchtime; \n\nSausage Rolls\, Nacho Dippers\, Picky Plates (Order through Flexischools-food ordering open by Wednesday 11th October)\nDrinks\, Icecreams\, Bake Sale (Purchased separately on the day on the oval)\n\nOn the oval\, near the Year 3 block\, the P & C will sell home-cooked baked goods\, ice cream\, and drinks.
