DESCRIPTION:The Uniform Shop offers a comprehensive range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website (Click Here). Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms on a fortnightly basis. Parents can also order online through Flexischool. If you order via Flexischools online by noon on the Wednesday before these dates\, your order will be sent to your child’s classroom to be picked up and taken home the following Thursday morning. You do not need to come in and collect online orders. DESCRIPTION:Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) is a part-time supplementary program for students in Years 5 and 6. Students are identified as suited to participation in the PEAC Program through testing in Year 4. Forest Crescent Year 4 students will participate in testing\, hosted by the classroom teacher on Monday\, 4th August to Wednesday\, 6th August. \nAll public school students in Year 4 are provided with the opportunity to be assessed for suitability for the PEAC program. Parents may request that their child be excluded from the testing process by notifying the school in writing. \nThe PEAC selection test consists of two sections:\nVerbal Reasoning (VR)\, comprised of 25 multiple-choice items and two item types: \nReading Comprehension and Reasoning by Analogy. \nMathematical Reasoning (MR)\, comprised of 25 multiple-choice items of two item types: Mathematical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning. \nIt is important to make fair and consistent interpretations of the data. DESCRIPTION:The Year 3 students in rooms 22\, 23\, 24\, and 25 will have the opportunity to go on an excursion to Scitech in Week 4 of this term.  During the excursion\, students will have the opportunity to watch Science come alive through interactive demonstrations\, view a show in the Planetarium\, and have facilitated access to the feature exhibition. They will also have the chance to explore science concepts independently during free time in the general exhibition section. \nThe students will visit Scitech on Wednesday\, 13th August 2025. The bus will be leaving school by 8:45am\, and students will return to school at approximately 3:00pm. \nThe students will need to come dressed in school uniform (no faction shirts) and closed shoes. They will also need to bring a bottle of water\, recess and lunch. \nThe cost of the excursion is $27.00.

DESCRIPTION:The following are the arrangements for in-term-swimming lessons for Year 4-6 students. \n(Week 7 – 8 (MONDAY 1st September to FRIDAY 12th September) at Gosnells Leisure World- 10 sessions) \nIn-term swimming lessons for Year 4-6 students are integral to the Department of Education’s Physical Education Program. The Department of Education covers the costs of swimming tuition\, and parents only pay for pool entry and bus transport. \nParents should also be aware that many high schools offer electives in which a level of swimming proficiency is required to participate. In primary school\, in-term swimming classes allow students to advance their swimming skills.

The Open Night is a time to celebrate all the outstanding teaching and learning opportunities implemented across the school; it is not a time for parent/teacher interviews. \nYou can make an appointment for a later date if you would like to have a more in-depth conversation with your child’s classroom teacher.
