DESCRIPTION:This is a health check provided to all children of Kindy/Pre Primary age in Western Australia and is carried out by school nurses during term time\, usually within all schools that have agreed to the service. It comes following a form sent to parents\, asking for their consent to carry out an assessment and asking simple questions about the child’s general health. It involves an eye test\, hearing test\, height and weight measurements.

SUMMARY:Open Night
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Open Night will be held on Tuesday\, 29 August (Week 7). Our art program\, music\, drama and visual arts will be presenting their work in the undercover area. \nThe band and choir will commence from 5pm to 5.30pm. Classes will be open from 5.30pm-6.50pm. \nThere will be a drama performance from 7pm-7.30pm in the undercover area. \nThe Open Night is an opportunity for families to come and have a look at the wonderful work of students and see our great facilities. Teachers will be available to say hello and introduce themselves if parents/caregivers haven’t met before. The Open Night is a time to celebrate all of the outstanding teaching and learning opportunities implemented across the school\, it is not a time for parent/teacher interviews. \nShould you wish to have a more in-depth conversation with your child’s classroom teacher\, an appointment can be made for a later date. I look forward to seeing many families taking the opportunity to come in and look at our wonderful work. \nThe P&C has a Subway Meal Deal that you can order through the Flexischools app. Orders can be picked up on the night from the Art Room between 5.30pm and 6.10pm. Orders close at 9am on Friday\, 25 August.
