DESCRIPTION:The following arrangements are in place for in-term swimming lessons for Year 4-6 students. \nWeek 7 & 8 (MONDAY 31st August to FRIDAY 11th September) at Gosnells Leisure World- new scheduling. \nIn-term swimming lessons for Year 4-6 students are integral to the Department of Education’s Physical Education Program. The Department of Education covers the costs of swimming tuition\, and parents only pay for pool entry and bus transport. \nParents should also be aware that many high schools offer electives that require a level of swimming proficiency to participate. In primary school\, in-term swimming classes allow students to advance their swimming skills. \nDuring this time\, when we are very conscious of the cost of living expenses for families\, the school has rescheduled the Years 4 to 6 swimming program. Instead of students receiving two weeks of swimming\, one 40-minute session per day\, with 10 sessions in total\, we will have one group of students (two classes) receiving one week of swimming\, one 80-minute session per day\, with 5 sessions in total. A break can be provided for the students at the end of the first 40 minutes if required. DESCRIPTION:The Uniform Shop offers a comprehensive range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website (Click Here). Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms on a fortnightly basis. Parents can also order online through Flexischool. If you order via Flexischools online by noon on the Wednesday before these dates\, your order will be sent to your child’s classroom for pickup and taken home the following Thursday morning. You do not need to come in and collect online orders. Click on the link for more information about Flexischools online ordering. \nSECOND-HAND UNIFORMS\nVarious items and sizes are available for $2 to $5 each. All proceeds benefit the P&C. If you order via Flexischools online by noon on the Wednesday before these dates\, your order will be sent to your child’s classroom for pickup and taken home the following Thursday morning. You do not need to come in and collect online orders. SUMMARY:2026 In-Term Swimming Yrs 4 to Yr 6
DESCRIPTION:The following arrangements are in place for in-term swimming lessons for Year 4-6 students. \nWeek 7 & 8 (MONDAY 31st August to FRIDAY 11th September) at Gosnells Leisure World- new scheduling. \nIn-term swimming lessons for Year 4-6 students are integral to the Department of Education’s Physical Education Program. The Department of Education covers the costs of swimming tuition\, and parents only pay for pool entry and bus transport. \nParents should also be aware that many high schools offer electives that require a level of swimming proficiency to participate. In primary school\, in-term swimming classes allow students to advance their swimming skills. \nDuring this time\, when we are very conscious of the cost of living expenses for families\, the school has rescheduled the Years 4 to 6 swimming program. Instead of students receiving two weeks of swimming\, one 40-minute session per day\, with 10 sessions in total\, we will have one group of students (two classes) receiving one week of swimming\, one 80-minute session per day\, with 5 sessions in total. A break can be provided for the students at the end of the first 40 minutes if required. So for Week 7\, two groups (including four classrooms in total) will attend one week of swimming\, and in Week 8\, two groups (including four classrooms in total) will attend one week of swimming. \nMore Information Years 4 to 6 Swimming \n

DESCRIPTION:Our annual Open Night will be held on Wednesday 16th September (Week 9). Our drama and visual arts will present their work in the undercover area. \nClasses will be open from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. \nThere will be a drama performance from 6:40 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the undercover area. (TBC) \nThe Open Night is an opportunity for families to visit and see our students’ wonderful work and facilities. Teachers will be available to greet parents and caregivers who haven’t met before. The Open Night is a time to celebrate all the outstanding teaching and learning opportunities implemented across the school; it is not a time for parent/teacher interviews. \nYou can make an appointment for a later date if you would like to have a more in-depth conversation with your child’s classroom teacher.

SUMMARY:Massed Choir Concert 2026
DESCRIPTION:The final rehearsal will take place from 5:30 pm to 6:40 pm on the night of the performance\, Saturday\, 19th September. Students will be taken by bus from school\, departing at 4:15 p.m. Students must have eaten before getting on the bus. No food will be allowed. Labelled plastic water bottles are permitted. \nStudents must wear their Choir shirt\, vest\, black pants\, school jacket\, and black shoes. Hair must be tied back\, and makeup is not allowed. (Vests will be given out to students on Friday afternoon.) \nThere will be no return bus. Students need to be picked up by a parent at approximately 9:00 p.m. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. and is expected to conclude around 9:00 p.m. Following the concert\, students are taken backstage. Your child will be able to be picked up from the designated door after the concert; more information will follow.
