DESCRIPTION:What is the National Assessment Program–ICT Literacy assessment? \nThe National Assessment Program is an ongoing program of assessments designed to measure progress towards the goals outlined in the Mparntwe Declaration\, 2019.\nThe NAP–ICT Literacy assessment measures and reports on the ability of students to use ICT appropriately and safely to access\, manage and evaluate information; develop new understandings; apply computational\, design and systems thinking to create solutions; communicate and collaborate with others; and engage productively with emerging and future technologies. \nHow will the assessment be conducted?\nThe NAP-ICTL main study assessment is a computer-based test that will be delivered using an online delivery platform. Students will\, therefore\, undertake the test using school computers\, which are connected to the internet.\nAt your school\, a sample of 20 students from Year 6 will undertake the assessment. These students will be randomly selected by ACER. These students will participate in an online assessment session. DESCRIPTION:Uniform Shop provides a complete range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website (Click Here). Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms each fortnight. Parents can also order online through Flexischool\, though the order needs to be placed by 5pm Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. Click on the link for more information about Flexischools online ordering. There is no need for you to come in and collect online orders. \nSECONDHAND UNIFORMS\nVarious items and sizes are available for $2—$5 each. All proceeds go to the P&C. Visit the Uniform Shop when it is open to view items or drop off any uniform donations at the front office.

DESCRIPTION:Unlock the wonder of friendship and curiosity in The Little Prince\, a timeless story that invites you to explore the world with fresh eyes. \nFollow a curious prince on his wanderings across the universe as he meets some oddball grown-ups who think that power\, money and celebrity matter more than love. On Earth\, he meets a cunning snake\, a wild fox\, and an airman who crashed his plane into the desert. With water in short supply\, will they make it home again? \nWith its humour\, clever storytelling\, and beautifully crafted puppets\, The Little Prince will tickle your imagination and warm your soul with its enduring call to “see with your heart.” \nAs part of our drama program\, Year 1s are going on an excursion to watch a production of “The Little Prince” by The Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. The performance will take place at the Ellie Eaton Theatre\, located at Claremont Showgrounds. \nStudents will be transported via bus to Claremont\, where they will be part of the audience and will experience a live theatre performance. Your child(ren) will need to be in full school uniform and bring a labelled bottle of water. \nWe will have an early lunch around 11.20am before we leave for the theatre at 11.45am. Straight after the performance\, we will return to school. The canteen will NOT be able to cater for lunch for us on this day as it is too soon after recess\, so please ensure you provide lunch for your child(ren) on this day.
