DESCRIPTION:Forest Crescent offers a short pre-Kindy orientation program for our incoming Kindergarten students\, which is hosted by Mrs Joanna Whitney.  We meet for 1 hour on a Wednesday morning for 5 weeks during Term 4. This program aims to allow you and your child to meet and play in one of our Kindergarten classes before starting in 2025. \nPlaces are limited to 20 children per session\, and priority will be given to children: \n\nwho have English as an additional language\nwho have special needs or\nwho are anxious about starting Kindy.\n\nDates for this year are: \nWednesday\, 30th October to 27th December \nThere is a choice of two sessions: \n9am – 10am OR 10am – 11am. \nInvitations will be included in the Kindy folder\, which will be handed out at the Kindy 2025 Parent Information Night on October 16th.

DESCRIPTION:Uniform Shop provides a complete range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website (Click Here). Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms each fortnight. Parents can also order online through Flexischool\, though the order needs to be placed by 5pm Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. Click on the link for more information about Flexischools online ordering. There is no need for you to come in and collect online orders. \nSECONDHAND UNIFORMS\nVarious items and sizes are available for $2—$5 each. All proceeds go to the P&C. SUMMARY:Year 4 Zoo Excursion
DESCRIPTION:The Year 4 students will be involved with a day trip to the zoo. \nAs part of our Language\, Society\, Environment\, and Science programmes\, we have planned an excursion to the Perth Zoo on Wednesday\, 20 November. The cost of the excursion for your child will be $22. \nWe will travel by bus\, leaving the school at 8.50am and returning at approximately 2.40pm. \nAll children are expected to wear their school uniform (no faction shirts)\, including a hat\, and bring a packed lunch\, recess\, and water bottle. \nWe would appreciate any parent helpers who would care to attend.  All parent helpers must pay their admission ($38.10 for adults and $30.20 for seniors/concessions).  Parent helpers will need to meet us at the Zoo entrance off Labouchere Road for a 9.30am start. If you are able to attend please fill in the slip below and return it to your child’s classroom teacher.

SUMMARY:Pre-Kindy Orientation Program 2024
DESCRIPTION:Forest Crescent offers a short pre-Kindy orientation program for our incoming Kindergarten students\, which is hosted by Mrs Joanna Whitney.  We meet for 1 hour on a Wednesday morning for 5 weeks during Term 4. This program aims to allow you and your child to meet and play in one of our Kindergarten classes before starting in 2025. \nPlaces are limited to 20 children per session\, and priority will be given to children: \n\nwho have English as an additional language\nwho have special needs or\nwho are anxious about starting Kindy.\n\nDates for this year are: \nWednesday\, 30th October to 27th December \nThere is a choice of two sessions: \n9am – 10am OR 10am – 11am. \nInvitations will be included in the Kindy folder\, which will be handed out at the Kindy 2025 Parent Information Night on October 16th.

DESCRIPTION:Uniform Shop provides a complete range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website (Click Here). Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms each fortnight. Parents can also order online through Flexischool\, though the order needs to be placed by 5pm Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. Click on the link for more information about Flexischools online ordering. There is no need for you to come in and collect online orders. \nSECONDHAND UNIFORMS\nVarious items and sizes are available for $2—$5 each. All proceeds go to the P&C. Visit the Uniform Shop when it is open to view items or drop off any uniform donations at the front office.
