DESCRIPTION:TAGS art group will have an excursion to SCULPTURE BY THE SEA in Cottesloe on Thursday 7  March 2024\, where we can walk around\, touch and learn more about these large 3D sculptures. We have an artist who has exhibited in the past joining us and being our guide for the day.  We will also visit the miniature sculpture exhibition at the surf club while our guide tells us about being involved in a grand outside exhibition like this. \nThe bus will leave school at 9am and return by 2.45pm. We will complete our day at the beach with some drawing and writing activities. There will be NO SWIMMING or water activities. \nYou will need \n\nA hat\, sunscreen\, disposable water bottle and morning tea snack and lunch in a disposable bag.\nFull school uniform\, hat and thongs or sandals

DESCRIPTION:Uniform Shop provides a complete range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am-9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website. Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms during each fortnight. Parents can also order online through Flexischool\, though the order needs to be placed by 5pm Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. Click on the link for more information about Flexischools online ordering. There is no need for you to come in and collect online orders. \nSECONDHAND UNIFORMS\nVarious items and sizes are available for $2—$5 each. All proceeds go to the P & C. Visit the Uniform Shop when it is open to view items or drop off any uniform donations at the front office.

DESCRIPTION:The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3 and 5. \nNAPLAN tests the sorts of skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life\, such as reading\, writing\, spelling and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken nationwide. This year our NAPLAN will be online\, except for the Year 3’s who will complete their writing assessment with pencil and paper. \nNAPLAN is made up of tests in four areas (or ‘domains’): \n\nReading\nWriting\nLanguage Conventions (spelling\, grammar and punctuation)\nNumeracy.\n\nThe school’s NAPLAN schedule will be published closer to the event.
