DESCRIPTION:Forest Crescent offers a short pre-Kindy orientation program for our incoming Kindergarten students\, which is hosted by Mrs Joanna Whitney.  We meet for 1 hour on a Wednesday morning for 5 weeks during Term 4. This program aims to allow you and your child to meet and play in one of our Kindergarten classes before starting in 2025. \nPlaces are limited to 20 children per session\, and priority will be given to children: \n\nwho have English as an additional language\nwho have special needs or\nwho are anxious about starting Kindy.\n\nDates for this year are: \nWednesday\, 30th October to 27th December \nThere is a choice of two sessions: \n9am – 10am OR 10am – 11am. \nInvitations will be included in the Kindy folder\, which will be handed out at the Kindy 2025 Parent Information Night on October 16th.

SUMMARY:IMSS Primary Band Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Instrumental Music School Services IMSS) is holding a band workshop for Year 5 and 6 students at Kelmscott SHS. \nThis excursion provides instrumental music students with the opportunity to engage musically with a wider range of peers and teachers and extend their playing experience beyond regular instrumental lessons. \nParents will have to provide their transport to drop the students at Kelmscott SHS on the day. \nPLANNED ACTIVITIES  \nStudents will be seated in a band setting and engage in a fun\, stimulating\, and educational workshop. The program will consist of specialist sectional rehearsals and new repertoires. There will be a full rehearsal and a short performance at the end of the day. Parents are invited to attend a mini-concert 15 minutes before the end of the session. \nSTUDENTS WILL NEED    \nInstrument\, pencil\, music stand (all items clearly labelled)\, water bottle\, hat\, morning tea snack and lunch. \nATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS  \nStudents will not attend their regular classes on this day.

DESCRIPTION:Uniform Shop provides a complete range of new and second-hand clothing. The Uniform Shop is open from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. \nBlock 5 (see school map -click on INFORMATION tab) \nPlease remember the uniform shop is voluntarily run by parents (from the P&C). Order forms can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the school website (Click Here). Completed orders may be paid in the office and distributed to classrooms each fortnight. Parents can also order online through Flexischool\, though the order needs to be placed by 5pm Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. Click on the link for more information about Flexischools online ordering. There is no need for you to come in and collect online orders. \nSECONDHAND UNIFORMS\nVarious items and sizes are available for $2—$5 each. All proceeds go to the P&C. Visit the Uniform Shop when it is open to view items or drop off any uniform donations at the front office.

DESCRIPTION:PP-Yr6 Sports Faction Athletics Carnival is scheduled for this day. \nStill to be attached PP – Year 6 Athletics Carnival timetable on Friday\, 11th October. \nLunch orders are only available through Flexischools. Please select your faction when ordering. Orders close Saturday\, 5th October. The canteen will not be open as the P&C will run a bake sale. \nOn the oval\, near the Year 3 block\, the P & C will sell home-cooked baked goods. \n\nKindly\, Year 1-2 classrooms send lunch monitors to collect lunches from the canteen as per normal at 12:20 p.m.\nFrom the senior carnival\, faction captains and student councillors from each faction are selected to go to the canteen at 12:25 p.m. to collect pre-ordered lunches and bring them back to faction bays\, where they will be distributed by teachers.\n\nParents must sign out their Kindy to Year 2 students for lunch (sign out sheet in Kindy to Year 2 classes)\, but they must be returned to class by 1pm so that the senior athletics programme can restart promptly. \nTimetables (PDF) are available for download below. \nDownload Junior Athletics Program (PP-Yr2) Download Senior Athletics Carnival Program (Yr3-Yr6)
