Forest Crescent Primary School has been lucky to be selected by the State Library to participate in an early literacy program called “Better Beginnings”. This program promotes reading for pleasure and will provide free resources to all Kindergarten families, including a lovely picture book and a reading pack. Room 5 present their item and Aussies of the Month awarded. All parents would have been notified verbally if their child was to be awarded Aussie of the Month, and all honour certificate recipients would have had an email and/or an SMS message sent
Students are encouraged to bring lunch and recess snacks contained within recyclable containers, (ie. plastic containers, reused sandwich wrap or paper bags). If they do so they will be permitted to obtain raffle tickets and also contribute to their whole class be in the running for prizes.
