SUMMARY:Interschool Summer Cup 2023
DESCRIPTION:Students will be representing the school at the Vale Sports Association Summer Carnival. \nYour child will be representing the school at the Vale Sports Association Summer Cup Carnival. It will be held on Wednesday 5th April 2023. The cost of the bus is $12.00. \nThe venues are: \nBasketball – Willetton Basketball Centre (Burrendah Blvd Willetton) \nVolleyball WA – Canning Vale Volleyball Centre (Catalano Circuit\, Canning Vale) \nCricket – Burrendah Park\, Pinetree Gully Rd\, Willetton \nSofcrosse – Burrendah Park\, Pinetree Gully Rd\, Willetton \nFrisbee – Burrendah Park\, Pinetree Gully Rd\, Willetton \n  \nThere will be three buses providing transport for the carnival. \n\nThe volleyball team will leave at 8:20am.\nThe two buses for basketball\, frisbee\, cricket and sof-crosse will be leaving Forest Crescent at approximately 8:20am\, and all will return before the end of the school day.\n\nYour child needs to wear the school uniform shorts/ skorts/skirts (no black shorts)\, bring a drink\, a hat\, sunscreen\, and wear suitable footwear\, as well as their lunch and morning recess. Students will be provided with an interschool shirt or singlet (Basketball). It is important your child is at school by 8:00am to get their shirt signed out. They will also need to be returned at the end of the day\, as they are not to go home with students.  Each family signing out shirts are responsible for their safe return or is required to cover the replacement costs of $40. Students are not permitted to use coloured zinc. \nAll venues plan to start by 9:20 am. There is a code of conduct for students and parents. Please visit the school website homepage to ensure you are familiar with both documents at the following address.  Forest Crescent Primary \nFinally\, we need two parents as assistants for each sport. If you can offer your services to look after a team\, could you please indicate this on the return slip. SUMMARY:Year 4 Maritime Museum Excursion 2023
DESCRIPTION:As part of our History (HASS) programme\, we have planned an excursion on Wednesday\, 5th April 2023 to the Fremantle Maritime and Fremantle Shipwrecks Museums.   The cost of the excursion will be $19.00 \nWe will be travelling by bus\, leaving the school at 9.00am and returning at approximately 2.45pm. \nAt the Museums\, the children will be involved in a variety of facilitated and self-guided experiences and will not be required to complete worksheets. \nAll children are expected to wear their school uniform including a hat and bring a packed recess and lunch\, with a drink\, in marked disposable containers. Please also provide a rain jacket if the weather is inclement. \nParent helpers will need to meet us at the Museum your child’s excursion is starting at but will need to walk to the other museum (650m).
