Below are the points discussed at the camp meeting. Please read carefully so that your child is fully prepared for camp. A copy of the camp packing list is available below.

2024 Camp Timetable

  1. The camp is located at Woodman Point, Munster. Children will be sleeping in gender-based dorms of 4-6 students with adult supervision in each block of dormitories.
  2. There are to be absolutely no student mobile phones or iPads on camp. They will be confiscated, and parents will be asked to come and collect the phone and their child. They are prohibited due to security reasons and social media access. If you need to contact your child in case of an emergency ONLY, please refer to the handout that was provided.                    
  3. Cameras are permitted; however, they need to be named or even engraved. iPads or phones cannot be used as cameras. Hair straighteners, hair dryers, or other electrical appliances are not permitted due to health and safety reasons.
  4. The camp has strict rules and a Code of Conduct that must be followed at all times. If your child breaks these rules, you will be contacted and asked to come and collect the student immediately. A camp staff member will go through these with our students on arrival at camp.
  5. What to bring (refer to the packing list that has been handed out to your child previously or is available on the FCPS website—everything mentioned on the list is required.

       ***  Please keep it in a small bag/case as much as possible as there isn’t much space on the bus. One bag only, they can take their pillow. They may take a day pack as well for the bus, which carries their recess and lunch, water bottle and hat.

  1. Remember -Packed recess and lunch for Monday – with a water bottle.
  2. It is vital that they have a named water bottle or two, as all activities require them to take one.
  3. Medication—It must be clearly labelled and instructions written out. It must be placed in a snaplock bag and handed to Jessica Sandhu on the morning of camp. Please do not pack medication in the students’ bags. This includes pain relief like Panadol or Nurofen.
  4. Activities- Many activities require closed-in shoes, longer shorts and T-shirts, not singlets.
  5. Lollies- Not in excess, please. Students are permitted two smaller bags or 1 family-size bag of lollies. For any other dietary questions please see Jacqui Davies.
  6. Movie Night- We will be showing a PG-rated movie. If you do not give permission for your child to see a movie with this rating, please inform Jacqui Davies. If you have any other queries regarding the camp, please contact either Mrs Jacqui Davies or Miss Jessica Sandhu at the school as soon as possible.
