With the onset of restrictions set by the WA government due to the Coronavirus outbreak, all WA public schools were forced to develop online learning activities for Term 2 2020. At Forest Crescent PS we worked diligently in the last 2 weeks of term 1 to come up with ideas and plans that our students could access from home. This was a steep learning curve for many of us, considering that our skill set is actually working with children in the classroom. We struggled at first, but with the help of the Tech Squad and Captain Zoom, we came up with many creative ways to reach our students and provide learning opportunities for students at home. If you’re wondering why Elvis (aka Mr Holmes) isn’t in the video, every time I went to get some footage of him he was either in a Webex conference with the DG or he had left the building!!
