Forest Crescent Primary School’s “Got Talent” auditions are on for 2024. The times for students who want to audition are below.

  • Auditions will be held at lunchtime. Everyone who wants to audition needs to come and line up outside the Music room on the Monday of their audition week.
  • Your names will be added to the audition list, and you will be told which day you and/or your group will be seen.
  • Audition days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. (Not Wednesday, as Ms. Britten has band practice that day.)
  • If your group has a mixture of year levels, you must audition in the week of the oldest person.
  • Remember to check your song lyrics for anything that might be deemed inappropriate. (Bad language or clear adult themes are not permitted)
  • If you are absent on the first day of your audition week, please see Ms Britten as soon as you return to school, and she will try to fit you in later in the week. If you are part of a group and one of your group members is absent on the first day of auditions, you still need to come and line up and get your names down. In this case, we would suggest going towards the back of the line so that you are scheduled later in the week when your absent group member might be back at school.
  • Callbacks are in Weeks 8 and 9. You will be scheduled into callbacks by the end of week seven and will receive a note as to the day of your callback.
  • Welcome back to Term 2. Forest Crescent’s Got Talent auditions are starting as of Week 2.
  • Open auditions in Week 2 are for any senior students from Years 3-6 or a multi-aged group with a senior student included who has already begun practising an act for Forest Crescent’s Got Talent. The act need not be finished, and it can be just your ideas, but you should have thought it through and come up with a plan to be ready for open auditions.
  • The open auditions are to get us all thinking about what, if anything, we would like to do in this year’s Forest Crescent’s Got Talent. You need to start planning now. CDs will be available when Ms Britten returns in Week 3.

  • Year 6 students are invited to fill out an application to be a judge form. The form has been emailed to your teachers and is also attached to this document. If you are applying, you MUST have your form to Ms Auld by this Thursday, April 18th, before the end of lunchtime. If you start thinking and planning now, you’ll be ready for auditions in your designated week. Check the timetable above for each year level’s week.
