In Week 6 students and staff celebrated Book Week by coming dressed up as their favourite book character. Many thanks to the Book Week Committee who helped organize this event and to the students, staff and parents who supported the Book Character
Parade. It was a huge success! This was then followed by the Great Book Swap. Students donated books across K-6 and then for a gold coin donation were able to purchase a book. We raised $770.75 which goes to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation to help fund the National Book Supply Program. The aim this year is to send over 65,000 books to over 250 remote Indigenous communities and organisations across Australia. Many thanks to all staff, students and parents for supporting this fundraising event.
