What a fantastic day we had celebrating Book Week with this year’s theme, Book an Adventure! The sunshine struggled but appeared for our parade, and it was wonderful to see so many students and staff dressed in their adventurous best. Families lining the parade route were wonderful!
A huge thank you to Miss Sandhu for providing the lively soundtrack to our parade, and Miss Auld for her excellent work as MC. Thank you also to Miss Sandhu and Mrs Burke for capturing the day in photos, and to Mrs Giglia, Mrs Rankine, and Mrs Burke for your assistance in creating a wonderful class photo display area.
Thank you to Mrs Lambert and the various administrators for sharing adventurous stories with us throughout the week, which we enjoyed listening to and following along with in our classrooms.
Most of all, we thank every single staff member for their creativity, enthusiasm, and participation in making this year’s Book Week Parade such a special event for our school community.
Next year’s parade and Book Week celebrations promise to be better than ever as we look forward to celebrating “A Symphony of Stories!”
