Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you so much for supporting our school, especially through fundraising. In Term 4 term, we are hosting a Colour Explosion School Fun Run to help us fundraise for a shade structure over the outside stage area near the oval. To achieve our goal, we are hoping to raise $15,000 as a school community.
When is the Colour Explosion School Fun Run?
We will be hosting our Colour Explosion School Fun Run on Friday 29th October in the afternoon.
- Years 5-6 at 1:15pm – 1:45pm
- Years 3-4 at 1:50 – 2:20pm
- Years PP, 1 & 2 at 2:30 – 3pm
Kindy Wednesday 27th October
- Group A at 10:45 – 11:15pm
- Group B at 2:30 – 3pm
What students need to wear
Make sure students bring a WHITE shirt to wear during the Fun Run. They will be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable colour powder from head to toe! An old hat may be preferred too.
If your child would like to participate but does NOT want to be sprayed with water or colour please get them to wear a coloured t-shirt. Any students wearing school uniform will not be allowed to participate. Any student who does not want to participate at all please notify your classroom teacher prior to the event.
Is the powder safe?
The non-toxic colour powder is made of high-quality corn starch and permitted food colours, so it’s safe for skin and eyes. Students with asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate.
