IMSS Primary Band Workshop 2025

Instrumental Music School Services IMSS) is holding a band workshop for Year 5 and 6 students at Kelmscott SHS.

This excursion provides instrumental music students with the opportunity to engage musically with a wider range of peers and teachers and extend their playing experience beyond regular instrumental lessons.

Parents will have to provide their own transport to drop the students off at Kelmscott SHS on the day.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES

Students will be seated in a band setting and engage in a fun, stimulating, and educational workshop. The program will consist of specialist sectional rehearsals and new repertoires. There will be a full rehearsal and a short performance at the end of the day. Parents are invited to attend a mini-concert 15 minutes before the end of the session.

STUDENTS WILL NEED  

Instrument, pencil, music stand (all items clearly labelled), water bottle, hat, morning tea snack and lunch.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

Students will not attend their regular classes on this day.
