On Monday 28th October Kindy 1A and Kindy 2A will be going on an excursion to Scitech in West Perth.
On Thursday 31st October Kindy 1B and Kindy 2B will be going on an excursion to Scitech in West Perth.
Our visit to Scitech will begin with an opportunity to visit and play in Discoverland. Discoverland has been designed and built exclusively for 0-6 year olds, the exhibits will inspire imaginations and the students will build STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) skills as they play and work together. This will be followed by a visit to the puppet theatre where we will participate in a show called “What’s That Sound?”. This show is about the Curiosity Shop is full of lots of sounds. Help Hamelin the rat discover what they are.
The children will need to wear their school uniform, with enclosed shoes. Please have morning tea and lunch in your child’s lunchbox with their name clearly marked. They will also require a water bottle.
The excursion at Scitech will finish at 12.30pm and we will have lunch at Scitech. The bus will leave Scitech between 1.00 and 1.15pm and return to school at approximately 2.00pm.
Students will need to arrive at school by 8.30am as the bus departs from school at 8.45am and we arrive at Scitech at approximately 9.30am.
