Room 1, 2, 3 & 4 Excursion to Kings Park on 28th July
To celebrate and learn about May Gibbs’ Snugglepot and Cuddlepie stories; and to investigate the Australian bush, classes will be travelling by bus to the Rio Tinto Naturescape in Kings Park on Tuesday, 28 July 2020.
Children will need to wear their school uniform (preferably girls should wear shorts or skorts), a sun-safe hat, closed in “old” shoes and sunscreen. They will need to bring a water bottle, snack for recess and lunch in re-useable containers as there are no rubbish bins located close by. Please make sure that all of your child’s belongings have their name clearly marked and are packed securely in their school bag. Your child will also need to pack a small towel and change of clothes.
The bus will leave the school grounds by 9:00am and return at approximately 2:30pm. The total cost for the excursion is $17.50 which covers the bus fare and the education program at Kings Park.
You are more than welcome to join us on our excursion as we do need 3-4 parent helpers for each class! Please note, you will need to meet us at Kings Park as there is no room on the bus.
