NAPLAN Online 2025

The National Assessment Program—Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3 and 5.

NAPLAN tests the skills essential for every child to progress through school and life, such as reading, writing, spelling, and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken nationwide. Our NAPLAN assessments will be online, except for the Year 3s, who will only complete their writing assessment with pencil and paper.

NAPLAN is made up of tests in four areas (or ‘domains’):

• Reading
• Writing
• Language Conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
• Numeracy.

The school’s NAPLAN schedule will be published closer to the event.
