On Friday 1st April Mr Mason and two of our student councillors, Eden and Caylee, have decided to cut off their long locks of hair for charity. They aim to raise more than $500 to be able to donate to the Leukaemia Foundation and for the Year 6 Kids for Kids charity, A Stitch in Time.
Eden will be donating her hair to make a blonde wig for patients with cancer. Mr Mason is so keen to see his locks go; he is allowing a student to do the first cut. To do this, in the coming week, we will send home a raffle sheet. A ticket to go into the raffle will cost 50c or 5 for $2.00. if you don’t want to go in the raffle but want to donate, details will be given on the note attached to the raffle tickets.
Also ONLY for the Year 6 students, there will be a free dress day on Friday, 1st April.
