Unlock the wonder of friendship and curiosity in The Little Prince, a timeless story that invites you to explore the world with fresh eyes.
Follow a curious prince on his wanderings across the universe as he meets some oddball grown-ups who think that power, money and celebrity matter more than love. On Earth, he meets a cunning snake, a wild fox, and an airman who crashed his plane into the desert. With water in short supply, will they make it home again?
With its humour, clever storytelling, and beautifully crafted puppets, The Little Prince will tickle your imagination and warm your soul with its enduring call to “see with your heart.”
As part of our drama program, Year 1s are going on an excursion to watch a production of “The Little Prince” by The Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. The performance will take place at the Ellie Eaton Theatre, located at Claremont Showgrounds.
Students will be transported via bus to Claremont, where they will be part of the audience and will experience a live theatre performance. Your child(ren) will need to be in full school uniform and bring a labelled bottle of water.
We will have an early lunch around 11.20am before we leave for the theatre at 11.45am. Straight after the performance, we will return to school. The canteen will NOT be able to cater for lunch for us on this day as it is too soon after recess, so please ensure you provide lunch for your child(ren) on this day.
