Dear Parents & Families.

A slight change to the schedule, the students still have to be in their classrooms by 5:45 pm. Band students to be on stage by 5:55 pm for their performance to start at 6:05 pm. Parents and families to be seated by 6:05 pm.

The official start to Presentation Night is 6:30 pm with our Head Boy, Omar, and Head Girl, Ella.

REMEMBER out of courtesy to others the audience members who are sitting on blankets or low chairs (sand chairs-festival chairs) are to be situated closest to the bunting, with higher chairs moved to the back of the audience, or at least not blocking views of audience members at ground level.

Toilets are open to parents and families in the Year 4 and Year 5 block.

Toilets in the Year 1 block are reserved for teachers and students use only.

This is a non-smoking and non-alcohol event, so we would appreciate, out of courtesy to other people, that you do not smoke or consume alcohol on school grounds.

Additionally, due to Stage 4 COVID regulations, it is required that family groups keep a social distance from each other due to health requirements and with respect to others who are complying with COVID regulations.

At the end of the evening’s program, students will return to their classrooms with their teacher. Again due to COVID regulations, if parents can remain behind until all students have left the presentation area and are back inside the classrooms. Parents will then be able to collect their children from the classrooms. Parents are not allowed in classrooms.

As it was communicated in the newsletter, unless you have made specific arrangements to collect your child before the end of the evening, then all children are to remain until the conclusion of this evening’s performance.

At the conclusion of the Presentation Night’s events, we would appreciate any assistance with the packing up.

On this evening we join the students in celebrating the end of their school year for 2020, along with recognising individual performance through class book awards.

Book awards are presented to students who have displayed the following qualities throughout the year;

  • Positive attitude towards school
  • Citizenship qualities in the classroom
  • Commitment to learning

We also have two BeYou awards this year, which recognises a junior and senior primary student who has displayed kindness and empathy within the school community.

Photos of all the award recipients taken tonight will have a download link emailed to the family email address that is on our current newsletter database.

You are welcome to film or take photos of the items, please respect the privacy of our students and don’t upload to social media.

Our year level performances will also be video recorded tonight and, depending on how they tun out, they may be downloadable for parents at a later date, to be advised.
