WHOLE SCHOOL SONG
Christmas Eve (To the tune of Dancing Queen)
Ooh …
Don’t you cry, don’t you weep
The sleigh won’t leave til you are asleep
OOOh Can you hear the sleigh bells ring
Now it’s Christmas Eve
Sunday night, and the lights are low
The sleigh is packed, and it’s ready to go
The elves have wrapped all the presents
Santa’s got his list
If you’re good, you won’t be missed
As the children prepare for bed
Santa dons his suit of red
Ties up his boot lace
Calls the reindeer in
They come at the speed of light
Coz it’s their favourite night…
CHORUS:
Now it is Christmas Eve
Go to sleep so the sleigh can leave
Christmas Eve
Excitement felt in the cool night breeze oh yeah
Don’t you cry, don’t you weep
The sleigh won’t leave til you are asleep
OOOh Can you hear, the sleigh bells ring
Now it’s Christmas Eve
Get up early on Christmas Day
Early up and ready to play
See what’s under the tree
See what’s there for me
Wake up the family
And when you get a glance….
Now it’s Christmas eve
Now it is Christmas Eve
Go to sleep, so the sleigh can leave
Christmas Eve
Excitement felt in the cool night breeze oh yeah
Don’t you cry, don’t you weep
The sleigh won’t leave til you are asleep
OOOh Can you hear, the sleigh bells ring
Now it’s Christmas Eve
Now it’s Christmas Eve
Now it’s Christmas Eve
