Thank you to all our families who joined us to celebrate Harmony Day—we were thrilled with such a wonderful turnout, especially given the incredibly hot weather! Families enjoyed picnics under the trees and in any available shade, while the undercover area, though a little warm, was alive with a strong sense of community. It was fantastic to see so many students dressed in cultural attire and to hear our whole school song, “We Are the World,” sung with pride and a strong sense of belonging. The Year 2 students gave a beautiful welcome with Wandjoo My Friend, while our senior students proudly represented their cultures, speaking clearly and with confidence. A special thank you to Mrs Rodricks, our Harmony Day Ambassador, for her inspiring speech. Thank you to staff, students, and families for making the day such a success— we are already looking forward to next year (perhaps with slightly cooler weather!).
