The Interschool Cross Country carnival was held on Friday, 27 August. It was great to get out and be able to compete at an interschool level. Six schools were involved in our carnival, Forest Crescent, Aspiri, Southern Grove, North Harrisdale, Harrisdale and Piara Waters.
We took a squad of 48 competitors to the carnival from Years 3-6. The racing was very competitive, and although we had some excellent individual performances, our overall team placings eventually gave us the win for the overall points shield. I want to congratulate all of our runners, together with Mrs Spencer, who coordinates our running club and Mrs Horan and Ms Sandhu, who coordinate and run our senior sports program.
