Congratulations to our Interschool Cross Country Team (Years 3-6) for their achievement at bringing home the Vale School Sports Association Interschool Cross Country Trophy for 2020.
The Interschool Cross Country Carnival held on Thursday 20 August was our first interschool event of the year. It was great to get out and be able to compete at an interschool level. There were 6 schools involved in our carnival, Forest Crescent, Aspiri, Southern Grove, Campbell, Harrisdale and Piara Waters. We took a squad of 48 competitors to the carnival from Years 3-6. The racing was very competitive and although we had some excellent individual performances it was our overall team placings that eventually led to us winning the overall points shield. I would like to congratulate all of our runners, together with Mrs Spencer who coordinates our running club and Mrs Horan and Ms Sandhu who coordinate and run our senior sports program.
