Notice for all parents of students attending Pre-Primary to Year 2 and Year 3’s in Room 12.
We were informed on Friday 9th August that when Gosnells Leisureworld did their pool winter maintenance, they found a number of tiles in the pool delaminating.
The Department of Education rang back today, Wednesday 14th August, with the news that the Gosnells Leisureworld will be out of action until possibly December. The department was also actively looking for alternatives for swimming lessons in Weeks 9 & 10. At this point, the only venue available was the Belmont Oasis Swimming Centre in Weeks 9 & 10.
After weighing up travel costs, travel time, wait time between swim groups and our current commitment to our Edudance program the school has decided that the PP-Yr2/3 Swimming program WILL NOT be happening in 2019.
