The Order of Events for 2022
On the evening of December 7th, we joined the students in celebrating the end of their school year for 2022, along with recognising individual performance through class book awards. Our new stage shelter, protecting the students from the heat and sun, permitted us to complete a proper sound check and rehearsal with all the classes.
Book awards were presented to students who have displayed the following qualities throughout the year;
- Positive attitude towards school
- Citizenship qualities in the classroom
- Commitment to learning
We also had two awards this year from the Gosnells Lions Club, which recognised a junior and senior primary student who has consistently demonstrated the qualities of kindness and empathy in the school community, along with one Year 6 Graduation Award.
Mrs Lambert, our librarian, continues to source quality books for Presentation Night and ensures that teachers get their book awards in by the due date and spends a lot of her time creating the bookplates that go inside every book presented.
Photos of all the award recipients taken tonight will have the image emailed to the family email address on our current newsletter database.
The choir, led by Ms Britten, performed our opening songs, “Walk Together, Come Together” and “Hey It’s Christmas.”
Forest Crescent Primary’s Head Boy, Matthew, and Head Girl, Eden, presided over the evening program and introduced the year-level items;
- Pre-Primary classes performed their item, “Ring Those Christmas Bells”.
- Year Ones from Rooms 6, 7, 8 and 9 performed their item “Aussie Jingle Bells”.
