Overall, most classes achieved over 50% which is a promising sign. The winning classes were: Kindy 2A, Room 3, Room 7, Room 11, Room 24, tied between Rooms 19 and 21, Room 15 and finally, Room 5.
Recycling Incursion
Thank you to Mrs Rodricks for organising a free recycling incursion for all our year 4 students. It is important to learn about which materials can and cannot be recycled and how to recycle effectively.
Harmony Week
Harmony Week is fast approaching and is a wonderful opportunity to appreciate and celebrate the many cultural groups that make up our diverse country of Australia. Everyone belongs! A special Harmony Day assembly is being organised to celebrate on the 18th March. Students are encouraged to wear some orange clothing or a cultural outfit on the day.
Bike Week
This is coming up in week 7 with National Ride to School Day on Friday 19th March. More information will be sent out soon.
Recycling at FCPS
Small household batteries can be dropped off at our front office, Nespresso coffee pods can be dropped off to the collection boxes inside the Art room and a soft-plastics collection bin sits outside the Art room.
