The annual P & C Disco was held on Friday, 19th August.
We began with the Juniors at 5 pm, who were all dressed in their finest glittery outfits. They danced the afternoon away with the help of Caylee, Eden, Nyssa and Georgia, who learnt all the special dances like the Macarena, The Birdie Dance and the Hucklebuck so they could lead the juniors. It was great to see many junior kids there following along with the dances, having fun and shining with their glow sticks all around the dance floor.
The Senior Disco kicked off at 7 pm. There was a great turnout, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was great to see everyone dancing and having fun. We celebrated two special birthdays that night, as well as a few games and quite a few laughs. The music was pumping, and the fairy lights finished the party atmosphere.
We had some karaoke and an air guitar competition; we tried to bend right back with the Limbo and even tried our luck with a deck of cards. In the end, we were all winners, having had a great night with music, dancing and hilarity.
Congratulations to the P & C, who, once again, organised a great night out for the kids and a wonderful fundraiser. Thanks also to everyone who came along to support this event.
We are proud to partner with Camp Australia to provide our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program.
Camp Australia programs are centred on child enrichment, while ensuring a reliable, engaging and hassle-free OSHC service at our school. Their engaged educators foster a safe, inclusive environment where children can relax, have fun and grow.
Camp Australia recognises that children need a different experience in term time to the experience they have on their holidays. Families can choose Your OSHC for before and after school experiences during term, or Rocketeers during the holidays.
