The Order of Events for 2018

The Forest Crescent Primary School 2018 Presentation Night started with the Year 5 & 6 school band, conducted by Ms Rebekah Britten, performing prior to the official welcome.

Forest Crescent Primary’s Head Boy, Nishok, and Head Girl, Lucy presided over the evening program, and introduced the next item, being the Choir’s performances singing “Message of Hope” (featuring Taylor N as soloist) and “Have Yourself A Merry little Christmas” (featuring Jayden A, Zac A, Lily T, and Gabrielle G as soloists). The principal, Mr Holmes, delivered his address to the school community, followed by Mr Massey reflecting upon the school year in the capacity of School Board Chairman, which was then followed by Mrs Symes who is President of the Parents & Citizens Association.

Then Forest Crescent Primary School’s Presentation Night was full steam ahead with the following year level performances and book awards.

Additional Awards for 2018

In 2018, Forest Crescent Primary School presented two new awards this year which recognised a junior and senior primary student who has displayed kindness and empathy within the school community; recognising the values of the school’s Kidsmatter program. This was sponsored by the Gosnells Lion Club and was presented by Mrs Kath Beech, President Gosnells Lion Club. The recipients were Matthew P (Junior Primary) and Tait O (Senior Primary)

We also incorporate one of the Year Six Graduation Awards in the FCPS Presentation Night program.  This award, the Marie Wooton Citizenship Award, is also listed in the graduation post and was presented by Mr Glenn Dewhurst, City of Gosnells Mayor. The recipient of this award was Lachlan M.

Finally the night came to a close with the community and students, along with the Forest Crescent Student Choir, singing “Shake Your Tailfeather”.

From all reports everybody enjoyed themselves and finally a thank you to all those parents and children who stayed behind to help pack away. Your support was most appreciated.
