The 2020 Councillors will comprise of 5 boys and 5 girls (including a head boy and head girl). Our 10 elected councillors will form our Student Council.

Student Councillors are the most visible student members of the school community. Parents, other students and teachers look to them to represent the school in the best possible way. Councillors are required to follow school rules and procedures readily as well as display leadership qualities. They will, at times, be given tasks that require some effort and personal commitment.

After discussing this with your parents, if you decide to nominate, please complete the downloadable form below and return to the front office no later than Wednesday 13th November by 3:00pm. Include with the slip an A4 poster of yourself promoting the qualities that would make you an ideal councillor. Hand both into the front office. No late nominations will be accepted.

Along with nominating, students will need to prepare a 1-2 minute speech indicating the impact they will have as a school councillor. We have scheduled the candidates to speak on the Monday 18th November for the girl candidates and Tuesday 19th November for the boys. Voting will be completed after the speeches on each day and the successful candidates announced on Presentation Night Wednesday 11th December.
