The students from Room 5, 17 & 18 were fortunate to be able to participate in a tree-planting project at Bannister Springs Farm near Bannister on Tuesday 28 July.
The students were provided with the opportunity to help revegetate a degraded hilltop, see firsthand a working sheep farm, as well as learn about indigenous culture in the Bannister area. Mr Bruce Ivers from Trees4Australia co-ordinated the tree planting and Mr David Collard, a Nyoongar elder, facilitated the Nyoongar Experience.
