Forest Crescent Primary School’s “Got Talent” auditions are on for 2023. For the students who are wanting to audition, the times are below.
- Auditions will be held at lunch times. Everyone who wants to audition needs to come and line up outside the Music room on the Monday of their audition week. (Tuesday Week 7 for Year 6) Your names will be added to the audition list and you will be told which day you and/or your group will be seen.
- Audition days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. (Not Wednesday as I have band practice that day.)
- If you have a mixture of year levels in your group, you must audition in the week of the oldest person.
- Generally, Year 6 does not get callbacks as you are the last to audition and have up until Week 7 to practice and perfect your act. If you need any feedback before that time, please see Ms Britten, Ms Auld or Mrs Sellick for some advice before your auditions.
- Remember to check your song lyrics for anything that might be deemed inappropriate. (Bad language or clear adult themes are not permitted)
- If you are absent on the first day of your audition week, please come and see Ms Britten as soon as you return to school, and I will try to fit you in later in the week. If you are part of a group and one of your group members is absent on the first day of auditions, you still need to come and line up and get your names down. In this case, I would suggest going towards the back of the line so that you are scheduled later in the week when your absent group member might be back at school.
- Callbacks are in weeks 8 and 9. You will be scheduled into callbacks by the end of week 7 and will receive a note as to the day of your callback.
- Semifinal times will be determined by the end of Week 9 for Years 1-4. The year 5 & 6 semifinals will be Thursday Week 10 @ 8.45am. (Usual assembly time)
