The Order of Events for 2017

The Forest Crescent Primary School 2017 Presentation Night started with the Year 5 & 6 school band, conducted by Ms Rebekah Smith, performing prior to the official welcome.

Forest Crescent Primary’s Head Boy and Girl presided over the evening program, and introduced the next item, being the Choir’s performance singing “Carpet of Silver” (featuring Kanon N as soloist) and “Deck the Halls”. The podcasts of most of the Year Group’s and Choir’s performance on the night are available to listen to below. The principal, Mr Holmes, delivered is inaugural address to the school community, followed by Mr McLagan reflecting upon the school year in the capacity of School Council/Board Chairman (his last year since election in 2011) and Mr Lambert (President of the Parents & Citizens Association).

At the end of 2017 Forest Crescent Primary School farewells three long serving staff members, Mrs Jackie Hansen (a teacher at Forest Crescent PS since 1988) and Mrs Sue Thorpe (a teacher at Forest Crescent PS since 1993) and Mrs Sandra Anderson (a Deputy Principal at Forest Crescent PS since 2005).

Then Forest Crescent Primary School’s Presentation Night was full steam ahead with the following year level performances and book awards.

Finally the night came to a close with the community and students, along with the Forest Crescent Student Choir, singing “Can’t Stop the Feeling”.

From all reports everybody enjoyed themselves and finally a thank you to all those parents and children who stayed behind to help pack away. Your support was most appreciated.
