Dear Parents,
The band will begin in week 3 of term 2. Band practice will be held in the undercover area from 3pm – 4pm on Monday afternoons.
I have decided to combine the Year 5 and the Year 6’s together so that they have plenty of practice time.
On the permission note (download below), please sign to give permission for your child to attend band practice and indicate how they will be getting home at 4pm on Monday. Please also include your contact number should I need to phone you in case of an emergency.
I would like to remind you that band is an integral part of your child’s instrumental learning and as an instrumental student, they are expected to attend band practice.
If for whatever reason, they will not be attending band one week, I would appreciate a handwritten note or an email to Rebekah.Britten@education.wa.edu.au . This is for planning and duty of care purposes.
