On Wednesday, November 15, the Forest Crescent Primary School choir was honoured with an invitation to perform Christmas Carols at Kmart Maddington for the official opening of the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. This marked the choir’s first return to Kmart since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, adding an extra layer of excitement.

The choir, filled with enthusiasm, delivered a stellar performance, treating the gathered crowd to a repertoire of 12 songs. Attendees, including parents, grandparents, and general shoppers, expressed delight at the diverse selection of new and classic carols presented by the choir.

The choir then captivated the audience with a spirited rendition of “Christmas Funk.” A delightful blend of Forest Crescent’s unique original Christmas songs developed over the years was interspersed with beloved classics such as “Silent Night,” “Away In A Manger,” and “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
