Reporting to Parents – Friday, 31 July, 2026
The Department of Education has recently introduced greater flexibility for schools in scheduling Reporting to Parents meetings. Following consultation and planning, Forest Crescent Primary School intends to utilise this flexibility to provide a dedicated day for parent meetings on Friday, 31 July.
Please note that Friday, 31 July, will not operate as a regular school day. Similar to a School Development Day, students will not attend school on this date. Families will need to make alternative arrangements for their child/children.
This approach gives parents and teachers meaningful opportunities to discuss student progress, informed by Semester 1 written reports, while supporting manageable workload practices for staff.
Families who require care on this day may wish to access our Out of School Hours Care provider, Camp Australia.
Booking Window Open WEEK 10 to WEEK 11 (Monday 22nd June to Friday 3rd July)
230 booked parent-teacher interviews so far, booking window extended
The Forest Crescent PS booking window has been extended from Monday, 22nd June to Friday, 23rd July. Parents will receive a Connect or Compass message containing a passcode to access the booking system for this class before the booking window opens. There should also be an attached How-To-Guide with your class teacher’s invitation message.
Parents will need to:
- Received an invitation from your class teacher.
- Read the How-To-Guide with your class teacher’s invitation message.
- Visit the school website
- Access the Parent Interviews tab located at the top right of the Home page (Parent Interviews – Forest Crescent PS)
- Select the relevant teacher (noting some classes have more than one teacher)
- Select a preferred interview time
