Reporting to Parents – Friday, 31 July, 2026
The Department of Education has recently introduced greater flexibility for schools in scheduling Reporting to Parents meetings. Following consultation and planning, Forest Crescent Primary School intends to utilise this flexibility to provide a dedicated day for parent meetings on Friday, 31 July.
Please note that Friday, 31 July, will not operate as a regular school day. Similar to a School Development Day, students will not attend school on this date, and families will need to make alternative arrangements for their child/ren.
The purpose of this approach is to provide meaningful opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss student progress, informed by Semester 1 written reports, while also supporting manageable workload practices for staff.
Forest Crescent Primary will share further information with families regarding interview bookings and operational arrangements as the date approaches.
Families who require care on this day may wish to access our Out of School Hours Care provider, Camp Australia.
